The following information is compiled from questions asked by the Walden Lake residents to the Walden Lake, LLC development group (WL-LLC) at the open meeting held on 04/13/2019.
Beyond this Q&A, please note that while WL-LLC would not provide direct information on the number of planned residential units, WLRAC has every indication WL-LLC is considering a significantly larger number of units than proposed in previous re-development plans. They also have interest in a three (3) story apartments-retail mixed use product in the area around the former clubhouse. This raises many concerns and we expect it will raise some concerns with the City of Plant City as well. WL-LLC says they will base some of their decisions on the majority opinion of the community. Thus, we need you to stay engaged in this process and in particular participate in a planned on-line and door-to-door voting event. The WLRAC is working towards the voting process.
